These tutorials are going to be your secret weapons. Trust me. The day you have ahead of you doesn’t stand a chance when you’re coming at it with Star Wars Galactic Warrior Princess vibes!

These looks are inspired by Princess Leia’s iconic buns and Rey’s three bun style. They are subtle enough that you can absolutely wear these to school or to a company wide meeting. Both looks are so quick and easy to do that they’re perfect to whip up on the days you hit “snooze” one time too many.

I love Leia, kinda want to be her. Partially because she’s incredibly resolute and dedicated to her “calling,” aaand partially because I am also in love with Han Solo. (Aren’t you?)

I’ve been wearing my version of her hair style for a few years now, and my favorite way to wear this look is with my pink hat. Which accessories would you add to this style?

You’ll need a few bobby pins and hair elastics (I used the tiny plastic ones) for both Leia and Reys looks, and seriously 5 minutes!

Rey’s style when we first meet her is SO Star Wars! I love it, and will totally wear it to Disneyland, but for daily looks, I wanted to make it a little more wearable and whimsical. I wore Rey’s three buns out of the salon after filming these tutorials as my “will I feel stupid wearing this in real life?” test run. Verdict, no I did not. I felt like a freakin’ Jedi.
